On April 3rd 1978 the inaugural meeting of the National Aboriginal Conference (NAC) took place in Canberra.
The meeting was opened by PM Malcolm Fraser ('Vote Mal - Eat Pal') and was chaired by government appointee Lois O'Donoghue. These photos of that inaugural meeting were taken by
